Challenge #9

With the ending of an old year, and at the onset of a new one, we tend to be reflective about ourselves. This becomes a time for us to truly experience who we are, and who we want to be. Whether you are looking to better yourself for yourself, or for the ones you love, this week's quote will be inspirational either way.

Words of Inspiration: How will our children know who they are if they do not know where they came from?
-- Author: unknown

Product: Use two (2) wings.

Technique: Journaling must be on the photograph(s).

Christmas Challenge

For this upcoming holiday week, your challenge is to spend time with your families. That is what some of us Chatters will be doing, and we don't want to stress anyone with having to get in their projects by a certain time, so you have some extra days. For this week's challenge, your entries are due by Saturday December 29th at midnight. A new challenge will be posted on Sunday December 30th. Enjoy this time with family and loved ones!

Challenge #8

With Christmas upon us, we Chit Chatters would like to wish you and yours happy holidays. During these hectic times when we are all rushing fervently to find the perfect gifts, we are reminded that sometimes we need to just slow down, and treasure the moments we find ourselves in. So curl up next to the fire with those you love, and get some good pictures to go with this week's challenge. Enjoy!

Enjoy the little things in life, for one day you will look back and realize they were the big things.

Her page was our pick for last week's challenge. Great job! She will be receiving an awesome stack of designer tags from The Cutting Edge.

Update!

We thank you for stopping by this past week to check in on us Chatters. We were experiencing some technical difficulties, and were unable to post blogs, but the situation has been handled, and we are up and running again. Thanks for the continued support!

Chit Chat Challenge #6

Ah December! Now that the holidays have officially begun with Thanksgiving being complete, we start to focus on the ones ahead. Doesn't December get you all tingly inside {even if it is only because the snowflakes make you so cold that your body gets a burning sensation}? Us Chatters have found a way to stay cozy during this cold time of year by scrapbooking about the things that really matter to us. Look below to see how you can join us with this week's challenge!

Words of Inspiration:
Use all or part of the lyrics to “My Favorite Things” from the Sound of Music Soundtrack to inspire your journaling.

"Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens
Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens
Brown paper packages tied up with strings
These are a few of my favorite things

Cream colored ponies and crisp apple streudels
Doorbells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles
Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings
These are a few of my favorite things

Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes
Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes
Silver white winters that melt into springs
These are a few of my favorite things

When the dog bites
When the bee stings
When I'm feeling sad
I simply remember my favorite things
And then I don't feel so bad"

Product:
Use 3 different types of tape.

Technique:
Use 3 “scraps” (i.e. found objects) on your page.
